WGC Sliding Scale
Below is the sliding scale we will be using, begin. ning October, 1977, for determining fees for individual counseling, groups, and workshops. We have tried to come up with a scale that takes into account the financial realities of women's lives as well as our need to generate enough income to stay in business. We use a sliding scale because we believe in it. We think it is proper for women with greater resources to share them with women who have fewer: $2 is as much money to a poor woman as $40 is to a wealthier one. Our goal is for all women to have equal access to quality service.
Our income is used to cover our overhead expenses, and pay our staff a living wage. In a future issue of WSW we will print a complete financial statement.
If there are any questions about the scale, please contact us.
Subtract $1,500 from your yearly Income for each dependent you are financially responsible for berlore rising the scale. Round off to nearest thousand
